Designed as a Santa Sack, these bags make a very special Christmas heirloom, or eco-friendly reusable gift bag. When it comes to colour combinations and adornments, the limit is your imagination.

A quick and easy beginner friendly project featuring sew-in cords which, when tied, create a whimsical wave top.

Our step-by-step PDF guide will take you through making your very own Santa Sack / Gift Bag using your own fabrics. Featuring easy to follow instructions with supporting visuals.

This is a serger / overlocker free pattern.

+ Overlocker / serger free pattern.

Best suited to woven fabrics. For x1 Santa Sack you will need 80cm (w) x 60cm (h) (31 1/2" x 23 5/8") of woven fabric, and 160cm (63") length of 5mm (3/16") cord - use up to 10mm (3 15/16") for a chunkier look. A full list of the materials required are included in the guide.
